JESUS
“Every day in the temple and at home they did not cease to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.” – Acts 5:42
I belong to a religious clan. Going to church, and reciting the rosary and novena prayers were taught to us at a tender age. I knew Jesus as “Somebody” who would get angry when you did wrong, didn’t go to Mass or pray. We prayed to Him when we needed something, wanted somebody to be punished for doing us wrong, asking for forgiveness or asking Him to make us win the lottery.
When my husband and I were invited to a prayer meeting, I hesitated, thinking that I knew enough of Jesus. But I was wrong! When I accepted Him as my personal Savoir and Lord, I realized I knew so little of Him. I hungered to know Him more. I learned to worship and serve a million and one miracles as I followed Him. I learned to forgive people who did me wrong. I shared Jesus to people I met who needed Him as well – my bus seatmate, the taxi driver, a stewardess, a waiter, to whoever Jesus sent me to tell them that He is the Good News Himself!
Do you know Jesus in a real and personal way? Come and embrace the truth about Him. You’r in for an exciting life! –Gingging
Let us pray:
Jesus, I love You! May people see You in my life. May they also experience how good You are. Amen.
